The Competition
At the centre of the biennial EuroSkills event are the European vocational skills championships, which offer 400 young, skilled workers up to the age of 25 (EuroSkills 2021: 26 years) from all over Europe the opportunity to demonstrate their outstanding talents and skills in around 45 different trades. Young skilled workers (not apprentices!) compete for victory in a total of six vocational categories, aspiring to the prestigious title of European champion.
