THEY ARE YOUNG, SUCCESSFULL
AND DETERMINED. THEIR SUPERPOWER?
Professional know-how perfected by a lot of hard work, a lot of patience and above all talent. Their mission? To carry the unique spirit of the European and World Skills Championships out into the world and to infect more and more young people with profound enthusiasm for their professions. These are the EuroSkills 2021 Heroes: former WorldSkills and EuroSkills winners who, as official ambassadors of the European Skills Championships, will fan out with their message. And they will receive prominent support from EuroSkills 2021 godfather Andreas Gabalier. Together with the Styrian “Volks-Rock’n’Roller”, they will be taking all of Europe by storm from Graz.

Try things out and find exactly the profession that you enjoy and that suits you: That is the message that EuroSkills 2021 hero Kevin Jaindl represents. The path to EuroSkills came about for the Burgenland native at the time thanks to a dedicated boss who told him, “Now we’ll just give it a try.” His tip for all EuroSkills 2021 participants? “Don’t give up and stay calm. Just make the best of every situation and give it your all, then nothing will go wrong.”

With authenticity and know-how, Franziska Ehgartner, then 20 years old from Carinthia, won the gold medal in the skill Restaurant Service at WorldSkills 2015 in Brazil, proving that she is one of the best young talents in the world. Her advice for the participants at EuroSkills 2021? “Naturalness and authenticity, that’s how you can leave a lasting impression!”
