EUROSKILLS 2021

With EuroSkills 2021 we are organising a major event of European standard. Here you can find everything you need to know about the event, the competition, our heroes and much more.

EuroSkills – European Championship of Professions

EuroSkills is a vocational skills competition which is staged as a European championship every two years. The focus is on the outstanding achievements of young, talented and skilled professionals up to 25 years (for EuroSkills 2021: 26 years) in about 45 European occupations. Around 400 active participants compete in vocational categories from the industrial, craft and service sectors.

EuroSkills will take place in Austria for the first time in the competition’s history – the venue will be Styria. The EuroSkills 2021 team is working tirelessly to make the European Skills Championships an unforgettable experience. At the same time, it is to be an opportunity to make vocational training more attractive in the long term and to counteract the shortage of skilled workers by highlighting various career opportunities. The overriding goal is to anchor the skills idea in the hearts of as many people as possible so that it will be carried on beyond the event.

Our Heroes

Our heroes know exactly what matters. Professional know-how, perfected through a lot of hard work, a lot of patience and, above all, talent. As former WorldSkills and EuroSkills winners, they have already had the extraordinary experience of presenting their skills and talent in an international competition. Their mission at EuroSkills 2021? To inform young people about the different career alternatives and to awaken their enthusiasm for them. For this reason, they are taking on the role of official ambassadors of EuroSkills 2021 and are getting prominent support from EuroSkills 2021 sponsor Andreas Gabalier.
