The jury of WorldSkills Europe in Gothenburg will decide the winner on 20^th April 2016. Styrian Economic Chamber President, Josef Herk, said: “Over the past weeks and months we have dedicated all our efforts to this bid and we are going to spend the remaining weeks doing our very best to show that the whole of Austria is behind it.”

As a small thank-you for giving us the opportunity to host this great event in Austria, we sent a hand-made Sachertorte cake to all delegates at the end of February. Styrian Economic Chamber Director, Karl-Heinz Dernoscheg, said: “We wanted to score points using typical Austrian strengths: hospitality, coupled with tradition, passion and craftsmanship.” We will find out if the delegates enjoyed the cake on 20^th April, when the decision is announced.
