More than 8,000 visitors, 35 skills and trades, and plenty of information about education and training: This and much more awaited young people and their parents at the fourth “Apprentices’ Day” in Innsbruck. EuroSkills 2020 was also present with a stand at the careers fair, joined at the Innsbruck exhibition centre by 2016 European Graphic Design Champion Fabian Gwiggner from Tyrol as EuroSkills 2020 ambassador and hero.

Several “career checkpoints” invited visitors to try out a skill or trade, such as baker, electrician and painter. Motivated apprentices and skilled workers as well as representatives of Tyrol’s vocational schools provided secondary students with first-hand information about dual education.
