EuroSkills 2020: Refreshments for all

A number of food and beverage suppliers are supporting EuroSkills 2020 and will ensure that the event does not run short of drinks, snacks and hot food for competitors, supporters and visitors.

So far, four different companies have been supporting EuroSkills 2020 in the Food and Beverage sector: Gasteiner Mineralwasser, the Franz Anton Mayer winery, Wiener Zucker and J.T. Ronnefeldt KG. They’ll all be working hard to ensure that everybody is kept supplied with refreshments during the challenging competition days, so that concentration levels remain high.

The German company J.T.Ronnefeldt can look back on almost 200 years of expertise and success in the tea business. Founded as a teahouse in Frankfurt in 1823, the company is still setting benchmarks for tea culture today. Ronnefeldt is the exclusive tea brand used by top hotels and restaurants in Austria and around the world. At EuroSkills 2020, a varied selection of high-class teas from Ronnefeldt will be used in the various competition sectors and will ensure that everyone involved will always have a hot drink available.

Fresh mineral water directly from the Hohe Tauern mountains in Austria, supplied by Gasteiner Mineralwasser GmbH, will provide thirst-quenching refreshment during breaks in the EuroSkills 2020 proceedings. The Salzburg-based company will be providing still and sparkling mineral water as well as refrigerators for the European Skills Championships. Gasteiner is the only Austrian mineral water that comes from a national park. The minerals and trace elements absorbed during its journey through the mountains make it one of the purest mineral waters worldwide.

A glass or two of wine is always welcome, even at events such as EuroSkills 2020 – and the company Franz Anton Mayer GmbH from Kirchberg am Wagram in Lower Austria will ensure that this pleasure is catered for. The winery is known for its organically grown, typically Austrian wines such as Grüner Veltliner, and will be supplying its red and white wines to EuroSkills 2020.

And, last but not least: the sugar producer Wiener Zucker will make sure that people can sweeten their coffee and tea as they wish The sugar beets used to produce the sugar are grown right here in Austria, and the products are also processed and packaged here. The end product is one of the main ingredients in Austria’s world-famous cakes and pastries, and so there is probably no better symbol for this sweet Austrian tradition.

EuroSkills 2020 would like to thank all the food and beverage suppliers once again for their fabulous support. We are Skills!
