The event venue “Schwarzl Freizeitzentrum” is packed with professional IT equipment!
EuroSkills 2021 technically perfectly equipped!
Networked – always and everywhere! This week the Schwarzl Freizeitzentrum was supplied with IT equipment.
A total of 600 computers and monitors from our supplier LECOS, 80 switches from NTS AG and BFW gGmbH, and 70 printers from our bronze sponsor Canon were included in the delivery. Our partner the BFW also provided us with 30 accesspoints and 2 firewalls. The entire IT-Team at Schwarzl Freizeitzentrum also comes from Berufsförderungswerk Leipzig and includes many apprentices who are actively involved in the work!
On the premises you will find about 8 kilometers of cables, 10 servers, 3 storage systems as well as 1200 patch cables. Everything regarding internet is provided by our partner A1. Our Gold Sponsor CISCO equips in cooperation with NTS the Skill 39 “ICT Specialists” with their professional equipment and our Silver Sponsor Autodesk supports us with professional software. Additional PCs have also arrived at the event site from our supplier Zotac as well as BFW.
An important part of our work at the Schwarzl Freizeitzentrum is also our logistics partner DHL, who makes sure that everything gets safely from one place to another.

Donations to Africa
Our supplier LECOS has come up with a great idea – all computers and monitors provided by LECOS will be donated to two universities in Cameroon after the event. The universities in the capital Yaoundé and the port city Douala are already very happy about the new IT devices!
