The absolute highlight at every EuroSkills closing ceremony: the handover of the flag to the next host country. This year for the very first time in EuroSkills history the flag was handed over to Austria. After the premiere of the inspiring new promotional film “See you in Austria”, Hungary handed the flag over to EuroSkills 2020 boss Josef Herk, Graz mayor Siegfried Nagl and Euroskills 2020 ambassadors Lisa Janisch, Fabian Gwiggner and Manfred Zink. The ceremony was accompanied by Falco’s “Rock me Amadeus” and showers of red and white confetti.  This marks the official launch of the intensive preparations for Austria’s first-ever EuroSkills “home games”.
