The letters challenge
The entrepreneur Josef Herk called upon skilled workers to come up with a creative design for the slogan “WE ARE SKILLS”. The aim of this challenge is to highlight the handiwork of those professions which are active participants in EuroSkills competitions. The entrepreneur Herk encouraged his apprentices to design the first letter, the “W”, with him. They set to work with cutting tools, metalworking implements, screws and finally paint.

A few days later, the next letters arrived: The “E” and the “A” – it was produced by the Institute for Professional Advancement (WIFI) in Graz, who gladly accepted the challenge.

The “flower-S” comes from Birgit Haberschrick, the european champion of florists at the EuroSkills 2014 and WoldSkills-participant Lisa Robusch.
