In June EuroSkills 2020 ambassador Lisa Janisch, the reigning European champion in painting and decorating and winner of the “Best of Europe 2016” title, posed for a very special photo. A calendar photo shoot was organised by the local Nordic ski training centre at the historic Eisenerz quarry under the heading of “Top athletes meet apprentices”. Several active and successful alumni of the Nordic training centre were happy to pose as models for the calendar, among them Lukas Klapfer, winner of two Olympic medals and Styrian Athlete of the Year 2018. The proceeds from the sales of the calendar will go directly to the Nordic training centre.
