WorldSkills 2019 Kazan: review

4 exhausting days, in which much concentration and staying power were in demand, lie behind the participants of this year’s WorldSkills. 1,354 young professionals from 63 different countries gave their best in 56 different professions and were rewarded for their achievements yesterday at the award ceremony.

The day of the award ceremony was already completely designed for entertainment before the actual closing ceremony. Thus guests and participants could attend different entertaining activities and cultural programs, like Workshops in folk dancing and cook shows, before the large medal assignment took place in the evening. This assignment was accompanied by an extraordinary show to thank the many guests and supporters, but especially the participants of the WorldSkills for their dedication and commitment.

Finally, the WorldSkills flag was officially handed over to the delegates from China, where the next World Skills Championships will take place in Shanghai in 2021.
