Würth: a strong partner for EuroSkills 2020
Earlier this year, Würth officially joined the ranks of EuroSkills 2020 as a diamond sponsor. As a leading specialist for the trade in assembly and fastening materials for many skilled occupations, Würth is supporting the young, skilled workers with its products.
As a longstanding supporter of the national skills competitions, the company, with its headquarters in Lower Austria, has taken the plunge and is now for the first time also supporting an international vocational skills competition as a supplier of tools and workbenches. The Austrian competitors can therefore look forward to using tools and working materials provided by Würth for their intensive training and preparation.
Würth is passionate about supporting young, skilled workers and sees its commitment as an investment in the future, as managing director Willi Trumler explains: “As a partner of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Würth Austria has been supplying competitors at WorldSkills und EuroSkills with high-quality, professional tools to use during their preparations for the competitions for over 10 years now. With the European Skills Championships being held in Austria for the first time in 2020, it is particularly important for us to lend our support as a sponsor. Würth is involved in projects for young people engaged in skilled occupations at both national and international level. The future opportunities offered by skills and trades are infinite. The career options in Austria are superb. There are many training organisations among our customers, and the competitors at EuroSkills 2020 are also the potential entrepreneurs of the future.”
We at EuroSkills 2020 would once again like to express our heartfelt thanks to Würth for their commitment and support. We are Skills!
