Zoller supports EuroSkills as a silver sponsor

One of the leading names in tools and measurement technology is Zoller. The Austrian branch of the company, Zoller Austria, is now supporting EuroSkills as a silver sponsor.

Founded in 1945 as a small mechanics workshop, the company is still a family-run business but now operates internationally with a total of 48 sites worldwide. Zoller’s Austrian branch, the company’s first foreign subsidiary, was founded in Ried im Innkreis in 1987. The goal of Eberhard Zoller and Wolfgang Huemer was to optimise machining production in Austria using cutting-edge technology. By implementing this vision, Zoller Austria has grown into one of the market and technology leaders in the field. Since the company was founded, more than 3,000 adjusting, measuring and testing devices have been installed in Austria, and the focus on tool management solutions and industry 4.0 has been steadily increasing for a number of years. And, what’s more, fostering young, skilled workers is also a high priority for the company. Zoller Austria has already supported AustrianSkills back in 2018, and has now also come on board EuroSkills as a silver sponsor.

Wolfgang Huemer, managing director of Zoller Austria, explains why the company has decided to back Austria’s premiere as host of the European Skills Championships: “EuroSkills in Graz will provide young, skilled workers with the opportunity to showcase their expertise in an international competition and to find new prospects for their future careers. The phenomenal commitment of the organisers and competitors alike also motivates us to sponsor this event.”

EuroSkills would like to thank Zoller once again for its fabulous support. We are Skills!
