EuroSkills sponsor Stabila ready for WorldSkills Kazan

Today’s EuroSkills 2020 blog features a guest post by our silver sponsor Stabila. The measuring tool specialists from Germany talk about their preparations for WorldSkills Kazan and what the visitors can expect there.

All of us at Stabila are looking forward to a fantastic world vocational skills championships this year, too. The international skills championships have been a firm fixture in our calendar for many years now. This year in Kazan, more than 1,600 of the best young, skilled workers from65 countries worldwide will compete with each other. Once again, victory or defeat will be decided by the tiniest detail – down to the last millimetre.

We have now reached the final stages of our preparations for the world vocational skills championships in Kazan, Russia. As in previous years, we will again be producing a special, limited-edition gauge, the “WorldSkills Kazan 2019” gauge, and distributing it from our stand during the competitions. As a special highlight, we are planning an interactive prize draw during our presence on site – so a short visit to our stand will certainly prove worthwhile. WorldSkills Kazan will also be playing an important role in the coming months and weeks in our communication via social media.

The importance of precision work has been at the forefront of Stabila’s efforts for 130 years now. Many previous WorldSkills or EuroSkills competitors have prepared for their competitions at our training and competence centre – the Stabila campus in the German village of Annweiler. In 2017, for instance, the official final training of the German national team for the building trades nominated for WorldSkills in Abu Dhabi took place at Stabila’s premises. The team included the German national champions in bricklaying, carpentry, tiling, plastering, and concrete and steel construction.

Stabila hopes all competitors have a fabulous time in Kazan and wishes them every success!

With its own training campus, practical “goodies” and informative appearances at World or EuroSkills competitions, Stabila is committed to promoting international young talent. Photo credit: Stabila.
